ROAR Campaign for Adoptee Rights

Like birthparents, adoptees have historically been excluded from the policy processes that shape their adoption experiences. Many OBG birthparents have been active in the 2013 ROAR Campaign for adoptee rights, which kicks back in gear this month for the Fall legislative session. We hope you'll join us in supporting the rights of all Ohio adoptees to have unconditional access to their original birth certificates. Find out how to participate in ROAR's grassroots action campaign!

This month, our general meeting will focus on the experiences of birth grandparents and adoptive grandparents. How can grandparents best support adoptees, birth parents and adoptive parents? In what ways can we support the grandparents in our lives? What unique rewards and challenges frame the grandparent experience in adoption?
